When expanding, click on the property that you wish to purchase and it will tell you what you need in order to expand. For this particular piece of property, you must have 125 gold coins and have reached level 3.
Once we buy the land, we can then free Rafael from his crystal prison.
Rafael's ego is big but he is very helpful to us in this game. He proceeds to give you a tutorial on how to get wood and build workshops. You can get 3 axes from his home for 6 gold, chop some trees, and use the wood to build. He and Magnus then make you build a woodshop (whether you want to or not).
Build some arrows (cost 2 wood and 30 seconds). Now you have another quest... The Straight and Arrow
Once you have completed this quest and are at level 4, Rafael will lead you to another part of the kingdom, The Ancient Watchtower. It costs only 15 gold coins!
