The beginning of our adventure is kicked off with a nice little tutorial telling us all about how to play Castleville Legends! Once you are done with the tutorial you will have reached level 2.
The blue star at the top of the screen is your game experience level (xp).
Gold coins and crowns are represented at the top left corner of the game screen.
The quest log and treasure chest is located in the lower left corner and the marketplace is in the lower right corner (these two options are not active until you've reached level 2).
Help free the Magnus the Wizard and he will direct you throughout the game. The first thing you do is rebuild the castle and the vault. You will receive gold coins, 3 logs, 3 axes, and a plain torch from restoring the vault.
Magnus shows you how to get apples by getting water from the pond, watering the apple trees, and waiting for them to grow so that you can collect. Myra is a sweet old gypsy lady who's just trying to make a buck. So go to Myra's Forest Caravan to sell these two apples and receive 2 coins and 1xp.
We'll learn more about Myra's Caravan as we go through the game, but here's some pointers... Myra will change her mind on how many of an item she wants to buy. After you sell her 2 oats she might only ask for 1 oat. Also if you don't like an item deal that she has, you can hit the "x" in the top right corner of the item and she will think of another offer. The downfall of this is that it takes her a little while to get to a new offer.
Yay, now we are at level 2! This also unlocks the quest book (located at the bottom left corner of your screen) and your first quest is available! Apple of Her Eye Also at this point you are able to explore the Marketplace and the Castle to look at "How to Play", "Heroes", and "Knights".
